Need help with Paperback, found a bug, or have an idea? Here's how to reach me. Paperback is made by one developer, Quin Gillespie, and every message is read by me.
Write to trypsynth@gmail.com with any question about Paperback on any platform, including the iOS and Android apps. Questions about purchases, refunds through the App Store or Google Play, and privacy are welcome here too.
Report a bug or suggest a feature
If you have a GitHub account, you can open an issue instead. Issues are public, so other people with the same problem can find the answer, and you can follow the fix as it happens.
Whichever way you get in touch, these help me sort out a problem quickly:
- Which device and system you're using, such as an iPhone on iOS 26, or Windows 11.
- Which version of Paperback you have. On the desktop it's under Help, About Paperback. On an iPhone or iPad it's in the Settings app under General, iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage), Paperback, and on Android in Settings under Apps, Paperback.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- If a particular document won't open or reads wrongly, what format it is, and the file itself if you're able to share it.
- Which screen reader you use, if any, such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA or JAWS.
